Beyond basic companionship and housekeeping, ARIS at home can provide sensitive, confidential personal care in a way that respects your loved one’s dignity and well-being.
Our compassionate caregivers are qualified to assist you, or a loved one, in performing the instrumental activities in daily living to remain in a safe, clean and healthy home environment.
Assist with Personal Activities of Daily Living
Our goal is to encourage a consistent personal care routine that will enhance our client’s quality of life. Our professional caregivers assist our clients with their personal care routines which includes, but not limited to, bathing, grooming, hair care, tooth/denture care, basic skin care and dressing. Assist with Mobility
Our goal is to encourage our clients to maintain as active a lifestyle as possible. To accomplish this, Our professional caregivers will encourage and assist with ambulation (walking) and exercise.
Assist with Transfers & Positioning
Our caregivers will assist with proper transferring in and out of a bed or chair to promote a safe environment and prevent falls. We will also encourage and assist in proper positioning in a bed or chair to promote healthy body function.
Assist with Toileting & Incontinence Care
Toileting is a very personal thing for a person and we understand, and respect, the privacy our client would like to have. At the same time, we want our clients to be safe and prevent any situations that put them in harm’s way. With the utmost respect, our caregiver will accompany clients to the bathroom and assist with toileting, provide assistance with bowel and bladder incontinence when needed and empty/change external urinary collecting devices (if needed), all while attempting to keep their dignity in tact.
